Repair

Kitchen Floor, Repaired From the Subfloor Up

A hole had broken through this kitchen’s subfloor. We took the floor down to the subfloor, repaired it, and finished the kitchen and the eating nook with new vinyl plank flooring.

What was damaged
A hole through the subfloor, with splintered, weakened wood around it, under several layers of old flooring.
How we fixed it
We pulled up the old flooring layers to reach the subfloor, repaired the damaged subfloor, and installed new vinyl plank flooring.
What the customer got
A repaired subfloor and one continuous new vinyl plank floor across the kitchen and the eating nook.

In progress

Basement Build-Out

Still in progress. We started with surface restoration on the old basement walls, then put up new walls and a ceiling and installed three new doors.

What needed work
The old basement walls had a worn, patchy surface, with loose patches and peeling paint.
How we’re handling it
Surface restoration first: a fresh coat of cement over the old walls. Then new walls, a new ceiling, and three new interior doors.
What the customer is getting
Clean, even wall surfaces and a basement with new walls, a ceiling, and doors. We’ll add photos of the finished space when the work is done.

Surface restoration gives old walls a clean, even surface. It isn’t a structural or waterproofing repair.
